Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between a user ("User") and Soniv concerning the use of the Soniv website and services. By using the services, Users agree to be bound by these terms.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, Users may be required to create an account. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account information and for all activities that occur under that account. Users agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it as necessary.

3. User-Generated Content

Users may be able to submit content, such as event listings, reviews, or comments ("Contributions"). Users retain ownership of Contributions, but by submitting them, Users grant Soniv a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display them in connection with the service. Users are solely responsible for Contributions and the consequences of posting them.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The content on the Soniv website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Soniv or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited license to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Using the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the service or servers or networks connected to the service.
  • Scraping or collecting data from the service without permission.

6. Event Ticketing and Payments

Soniv facilitates the discovery and booking of events. All payments are processed through third-party payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal. Soniv is not responsible for the processing of payments or the security of financial information. Refund policies are determined by the event organizers, and any disputes over refunds must be resolved directly with them.

7. Termination

Soniv may terminate or suspend user accounts and access to the services at its sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if a User breaches these Terms of Service. Upon termination, the right to use the service will immediately cease.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Soniv, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use of the service.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the use of the service will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will take place in Seattle, Washington. Each party will be responsible for its own arbitration fees.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
